With all the attraction tickets, transportation fees, and accommodations, vacations can really add up. At the Theme Parks

Disney Springs

Who says a trip to Disney has to be expensive? Plan a visit to Disney Springs, Disney’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment center. Park for free in any of the lots or garages, then enjoy the street musicians, check out the shops and restaurants, and go for a free ride on the water taxis.

Universal CityWalkTM

Located between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, CityWalk offers a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon or evening. Visit after 6 p.m. to enjoy free parking, then check out all the boutique shops, unique photo ops, and theme park views.

Disney’s BoardWalk

Take in the sights and sounds of old Coney Island and Atlantic City style boardwalks right here at Walt Disney World. Watch street magicians perform marvelous tricks or stretch out on the beach as you watch the sunset.

City Arts Factory

Check out the creations of local and international artists at the City Arts Factory. Artwork rotates on a monthly basis so there is always something new to see. Enjoy free admission Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Central Florida Railroad Museum

Tiny but mighty, the Central Florida Railroad Museum is perfect for any train buff. The collection is housed in an old depot and includes lanterns, signals, rail equipment, and more. Afterwards stroll through the historic downtown of Winter Garden.

Mennello Art Museum

Every second Sunday is Free Family Funday at the Mennello Art Museum. Included in this free day is a mini art project and museum tour. In case you miss the free day, admission is only $5 per adult and $1 for kids, making it one of the most economical museums in Orlando. Entrance to the sculpture garden is always free.

Parks & Gardens

Lake Eola

Check out the iconic Orlando fountain at Lake Eola. Bring your dog and enjoy a walk around the lake, check out the many sculptures, and watch the many swans. The Walt Disney Amphitheater often hosts free movies and performances so check out the schedule to see if there will be one during your visit.

Leu Gardens

Also in downtown Orlando are the Leu Gardens. Enjoy free entrance to the gardens on select Mondays as well as a free plant clinic every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., where you can learn gardening tips and tricks from a master gardener.

Mead Botanical Gardens

Located in picturesque Winter Park, Mead Botanical Gardens offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. These rustic gardens are the perfect place for wildlife watching and quiet reflection.
